Just wanted to share my good fortune in having found a first class apartment near Veliko Tarnovo. I was visiting the area for a few days recently and so searched generally on the internet to see what was available. I came across "The Big White House" which is in the village of Tserova Koriya.

Run by a lovely english couple, I stayed in the smaller of two newly renovated apartments - it was rustic, traditional, clean and equipped with everything needed (even some basic shopping done in readiness for my arrival). If you need somewhere to stay, I would definitely recommend this place.

I would also like to mention David and Elaine who run 2 self catering apartments not far from V/T town, the apartments are large, clean and have all the mod cons you would need for a long or short stay, ideal if you want to be near town but not wanting to stay in it, while I was there they received a 2 star rating, in my opinion should have been 3 stars

Just thought we would let everyone know of a brilliant place to stay within the VT area,
This house is 15 mins drive from the main town centre and the house itself is stunning! They offer self catering apartments. They even took us shopping at the local centre, showed us round the main town and are two of the nicest people you could meet.
Its called the big white house and we were in the Vini Suite, it has everything that you could ask for, right down to a dvd player! You can even watch the owners collection of dvd and it wont cost a penny.

just want to say that i have also stayed at the big white house, David and Elaine are great and they offer 1st class accomodation as already mentioned. i had a lovely relaxing stay and will return again.

We are staying with Dave and Elaine too. We are next door in the Nuri Suite and plan to stay here 6 months or so while we wait for our house to be built.

We agree - we've been staying with www.classicstyles.co.uk about 2 months and we are really impressed with our apartment. It's beautifully appointed, really spacious, spotlessly clean and the linen is changed really often. Dave and Elaine even arranged for our laundry to be done for us, which is great!

Both apartments are fully equipped, so you get to use your precious luggage space on bringing over your personal items rather than boring utensils and other necessities. The apartments have EVERYTHING you need for a long or short stay - they really have thought of everything you could need.

Staying here is a real pleasure - it is a great home from home and you also get the super company of Dave, Elaine and Sooty the cat.

We would recommend "The Big White House" to anyone who needs a place to stay while they wait for their house to be built / renovated or as a base to explore the area whilst on vacation. I'm also looking forward to the summer when we'll be making good use of the balcony and the recently-landscaped garden.
